Mission Statement

The mission of the Bait Boat Legacy Project is to revitalize the American albacore fishery by integrating modern composite manufacturing with traditional artisanal knowledge. Through the construction of a new generation of purpose-built vessels and the establishment of a workforce development Fellowship, we aim to secure a sustainable, domestic food source for  Americans while preserving the heritage and knowledge of West Coast fisherman.
